Two ways to run InstaOutreach, on the same plan. The Chrome extension works in the Chrome you already use, on your own connection. The Mac app runs several accounts in the background, each in its own window. Pick one; you can switch any time.

Install from the terminal or an AI agent
Mac app, one command
curl -fsSL https://instaoutreach.com/desktop/install.sh | sh
Downloads the build for your chip, checks its SHA-256 and opens the app. Read the script.
Connect Claude Code or any MCP agent
claude mcp add --transport http instaoutreach https://instaoutreach.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN"
Create the token in Settings, MCP access. Cursor and Claude Desktop: config in the docs.
Prompt for your AI agent
Set up InstaOutreach (https://instaoutreach.com) for me. 1) On this Mac, install the app: curl -fsSL https://instaoutreach.com/desktop/install.sh | sh 2) Connect InstaOutreach to this agent over MCP: claude mcp add --transport http instaoutreach https://instaoutreach.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN" (I create the token in InstaOutreach under Settings, MCP access). 3) Read https://instaoutreach.com/llms.txt for what the tools do.
Paste it into Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. The Chrome extension installs only from the Chrome Web Store, so it has no terminal command.
Questions people ask
Can I switch between the extension and the Mac app later?
Yes. Campaigns, leads and the inbox live in your InstaOutreach dashboard, not in the app. Install the other one and sign in with the same account.
Do I pay more for the Mac app?
No. Both are on the same plan: $29 a month for the first Instagram account and $14.50 for each extra, after a 14-day free trial.
Is there a Windows app?
No. On Windows or Linux, use the Chrome extension.
Does either one keep running when my computer is off?
No. Both run on your own computer. The extension pauses when Chrome closes; the Mac app pauses when the Mac sleeps.
