IGdm Pro alternative.
IGdm Pro is a Windows, Mac and Linux desktop app that sends Instagram DMs from your own IP, from $8.99 monthly for 3 accounts. InstaOutreach uses your own IP too, as a Chrome extension or Mac app, and adds AI openers, follow-ups that stop on booking and a shared inbox.

Who should pick which
Pick IGdm Pro if
- You want the lowest price for several accounts: unlimited accounts from $19.99 a month.
- You work on Windows or Linux.
- You mainly need bulk DMs, welcome messages and lead export, without an AI layer or CRM.
Pick InstaOutreach if
- You want to run outreach in the Chrome you already use, not a separate app (or in the Mac app if you prefer).
- You want AI-personalized openers, follow-up sequences and a booking stage that stops follow-ups.
- You want one inbox for replies across accounts, with AI drafts, plus an MCP server for AI agents.
Both keep your account on your own IP with no rented proxies. The difference is what sits around the sending: IGdm Pro is a lean, cheap sender; InstaOutreach is a sender plus AI copy, sequences and a CRM inbox.
The real limits on both sides
IGdm Pro
- Runs only while the app is open and the computer is on.
- Its default of 50 DMs a day can be raised to 100, which is above what we would run on one account.
- The license works on one machine at a time.
- The site asks users to update to version 5.5.0 to fix issues connecting Instagram accounts.
InstaOutreach
- Automating Instagram outside the official API can conflict with Instagram's Terms of Use. Your own browser, your own IP and human pace lower the risk of restrictions; nothing removes it.
- It only works while your browser or the Mac app is open. Close it and the account pauses.
- Instagram only. No WhatsApp, Messenger or TikTok.
- No comment-to-DM auto-replies on your own posts. That is an inbound job for official-API tools.
- Each browser profile drives one Instagram account at a time; several accounts need several Chrome profiles or the Mac app.
- It cannot pull the list of accounts someone follows as a lead source.
How to switch from IGdm Pro
- Export your leads from IGdm Pro (it has lead export) as a CSV.
- Stop IGdm Pro campaigns for the account, so two tools never send from it at once.
- Start the InstaOutreach trial and install the Chrome extension in the browser where the account is logged in, or the Mac app.
- Import the CSV, write the opener and follow-ups (or let the AI draft them), and set a daily limit; 40 is the default.
- An account that was already sending does not need a new warm-up; a fresh one does best with 7 or 14 days.

Questions people ask
What is a good alternative to IGdm Pro?
If you want the same own-IP approach with AI-written messages, follow-up sequences and a shared inbox, InstaOutreach runs as a Chrome extension or Mac app at $29 a month for the first account. If price per account is all that matters, IGdm Pro is cheaper.
How much does IGdm Pro cost?
IGdm Pro lists Standard at $8.99 a month for up to 3 Instagram accounts, and Scale at $19.99 and Ultra at $29.99 a month for unlimited accounts, with 17% off yearly and a 10-day free trial, as shown on igdm.me on October 17, 2026.
Does IGdm Pro need proxies?
IGdm Pro says it uses your computer's own IP and that proxies are not needed for most users. InstaOutreach works the same way: no proxies, your own connection.
Does IGdm Pro work with the computer off?
No. Its FAQ says automations do not run when the laptop is off or the app is closed. The same is true of InstaOutreach, which runs only while the browser or Mac app is open.
