instaoutreach

Changelog.

Every InstaOutreach release, in plain words, newest first. The Chrome extension updates itself from the Chrome Web Store (the store currently serves 0.15.12); the Mac app offers each update in the app.

Mac app 0.2.73

Fewer skipped actions: opening a profile no longer clicks a person's picture in the feed (that opens their story instead of their profile), a search result Instagram redraws at the moment of the click is found again and pressed once more, and a comment window that is still loading gets one more press instead of being skipped.

Latest

Version 0.15.14

Fewer skipped actions: opening a profile no longer clicks a person's picture in the feed (that opens their story instead of their profile), a search result Instagram redraws at the moment of the click is found again and pressed once more, and a comment window that is still loading gets one more press instead of being skipped.

Version 0.15.13

After watching stories, InstaOutreach now checks that the story viewer really closed, and presses its X if Escape did not close it. Before, a viewer left open could make every follow and DM after it fail until the page was reloaded.

Version 0.15.12

Clicks are now aimed before they are pressed: InstaOutreach first moves the pointer, checks that Instagram received it on the right button or link, and corrects the aim if the page has moved (for example under Chrome's debugging bar or with a zoomed page). Before, on some computers every link click on Explore went nowhere and the action was skipped.

Version 0.15.11

If you keep Instagram open in one tab while InstaOutreach works in another, it used to wait without saying why ("You're active"). Now it says "Paused: Instagram is open in another tab" and gives you a Work in this tab button, so it works right in the tab you are looking at.

Version 0.15.10

When Instagram leaves a chat window open in the corner (from your last message or a reply), it no longer blocks the next message or follow: InstaOutreach closes that chat window first, then presses the button. Before, those messages were skipped with "another element covered the button".

Version 0.15.9

Reels has its own row in Most per day: switch reels off, or set the most reels a day. Reels are video, so switching them off saves the most proxy data. Saving it redoes the rest of today's plan at once.

Version 0.15.8

Instagram now works in 35 languages: also Turkish, Russian, Ukrainian, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian, Malay, Thai, Vietnamese, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Romanian, Slovak, Croatian, Serbian, Bulgarian, Hebrew, Persian and Filipino.

Any other language still stops with a message telling you to switch Instagram to English.

Version 0.15.7

If Instagram is in a language InstaOutreach can't read yet, it now stops and tells you which language and how to switch Instagram to English, with a button to Instagram's Language page. Before, every action was skipped one by one and nothing said why.

The dashboard and All accounts show these accounts under Needs you, with the language.

Version 0.15.6

Instagram in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese or Dutch now works. Before, likes, follows and messages stopped with "could not confirm which account is logged in" or could not find the buttons, because only English, Polish and Czech button names were known.

Going back to the home feed for stories no longer mistakes the Create button for Home.

Version 0.15.5

Stop now stops at once: a DM or comment being typed is cancelled before it is sent, and a command that just arrived is handed back instead of started.

Follow and Unfollow only press the profile's own Follow button, matched by its exact name, so they can never act on another button on the page. Following a private profile now works.

In a chat, a DM is only typed after the chat header shows it is the right person, and a comment Instagram refuses ("couldn't post") is retried later instead of counted.

Instagram warnings shown as a banner are now caught too, in more languages, and a refused read while finding new people no longer pauses the account.

Version 0.15.4

Liking reels is safer: it only clicks a visible heart whose name is exactly Like, so a hidden copy or an Unlike can never undo a like you already gave.

Version 0.15.3

When Instagram shows its verify-your-account page, the account now stops and shows Needs you, instead of retrying every few minutes with "could not confirm which account is logged in".

Version 0.15.2

When no DMs are planned today, Home says why under Planned, for example that the picked campaign's leads belong to another account, or that Engage sends no DMs.

Changing the picked campaign, its source or pausing a campaign now changes today's plan right away instead of the next day.

Your per-action limits are kept: each action runs between 60 and 100% of its own number, instead of being cut again to fit a random total.

Version 0.15.1

Home's Today list shows what is planned first, the next action on top, and what already ran below it, newest first.

Planned actions have a clock before the time and a grey background, so they never look like something that already ran.

Every row starts with what it does: Like from feed, Comment from reels, Watch stories, Unfollow @name.

Version 0.15.0

Settings is now one short list: Instagram account, AI comments, Version, Help and privacy, Login and Log out. Each row shows its current value.

When something stops sending, Settings says it on the account row with one button to fix it, and the gear on Home gets a red dot.

AI comments: pick where your key comes from, OpenRouter, OpenAI, Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude. Paste a key and the right provider is picked for you.

Help and privacy has a Copy details for support button: version, account and recent errors, no passwords or messages.

Version 0.14.4

Home always shows a DMs tile: today's DMs against today's limit in Campaigns, and a short note on why there are none in Engage, Warm-up and Replies only.

The mode chip on Home is coloured per mode (Campaigns pink, Engage green, Warm-up blue, Replies violet), the same colours as the Mac app.

One set of names everywhere: Run campaigns, Engage, Warm-up, Replies only, and Story shares in the activity filter.

Version 0.14.3

"Update required" no longer stays on screen after the extension has already been updated: it clears by itself on the next start.

Version 0.14.2

Chrome Web Store version: opening a profile through Instagram search works again when the Instagram tab is in the background, so follows and DMs go out.

Version 0.14.1

Comments work again: in the feed on a Polish Instagram, and on reels, where the comment box now opens properly before typing.

Version 0.14.0

All accounts is split into five groups: Working, Needs you, Resting, Stopped and Archive. The same groups show on the web Accounts page and in the Mac app.

Tap a group's tile to see only that group, or tap its header to fold it. Archive starts folded.

An account cooling down after an Instagram limit sits under Resting with the time it comes back. A browser closed for a day or more moves to Needs you.

Unfollow waits longer for Instagram's confirm sheet on a slow connection instead of giving up.

Version 0.13.3

Today's list shows the date as Tue 14 Oct again, not 20261014.

The DMs tile is always on Home and says why it is at zero.

Limits is now a labelled button, easy to find.

Each row in the list says what it did: Like @name, Follow @name. Row colours fade in from the left.

Version 0.13.2

Home's activity list is in two parts, Done and Planned, each under a line with the date, so you always know which day a row is from.

Why something was skipped or failed is written under the row. Skipped rows are yellow, failed red, done green.

Copy list puts the whole list on your clipboard as plain text, ready to paste into a message.

Version 0.13.1

Fixes the InstaOutreach icon doing nothing after updating to 0.13.0: a click now always opens the side panel.

Version 0.13.0

Clicking the InstaOutreach icon now opens Home in the side panel straight away. The small popup is gone.

Home is the only screen: no tab bar. The gear opens Settings, with a back button to Home.

Reply drafts (the old Setter tab) moved into Settings.

If the extension stops responding, Home now says so and offers Restart.

Version 0.12.0

Sources and Campaigns are now one menu on Home: click the source chip to see each campaign with its source group, pause or resume it, switch its group, and add or remove hashtags, accounts, posts and lists.

The source chip turns red when a campaign or group has nothing left to collect, and clicking it opens that one straight away.

The source chip now counts running campaigns correctly (it said 0 running before).

Version 0.11.0

Home is now one screen: what ran, what is planned and the log, with today's numbers, the last 7 or 30 days, or any dates you pick.

Mode, source, active hours, pace and Start automatically are chips at the top of Home. Tap the sliders icon to set the most actions per day.

The Schedule, Log and Activity tabs and Settings > Limits moved into Home. The popup shows what runs and opens Home to change it.

Version 0.10.22

Schedule tab: choose the pace. Packed runs the day at a person's pace from when the account starts; Spread spaces the same actions across your active hours. Switching replans the rest of today right away.

Version 0.10.21

New Schedule tab: today's actions, each with its planned time, the account it acts on and what happened. Skip anything you don't want, undo it, or retry a failure.

The popup shows the next planned action and when it runs.

Version 0.10.20

Likes, follows and DMs no longer skip with "a popup covered the button" on Instagram's older search panel: its placeholder sits over the empty search box, and the extension now clicks it the way a person does.

When something really does cover a button, the Log now says what kind of element it was, without reading its text.

Version 0.10.19

Opening stories is more reliable: when Instagram redraws the story tray just as the extension taps a ring, it finds the ring again and taps once more instead of skipping the story.

The Log now tells apart a button Instagram replaced from one that was hidden, so blocked taps are easier to fix.

Version 0.10.18

Instagram profile search works again in every language. Instagram's search bar now needs a click before it shows results, so the extension clicks it before typing the username.

The Log now shows when a search failed on Instagram's Explore page instead of calling it a profile page.

Version 0.10.17

Old Safe Mode builds are now stopped before the server sends them actions. Update to this version to keep working; the app will show an update-required message until then.

Keeps the 0.10.16 fixes for exact Instagram Search results and waiting when Instagram has no open tab.

Version 0.10.16

Follow and other actions can navigate from exact Instagram Search results even when the result is not a profile link. Similar usernames and rows containing their own action buttons are still rejected.

Autostart no longer opens Instagram in the background. If Instagram is closed, the extension waits without claiming or polling for actions, then resumes when you open an Instagram tab.

Version 0.10.15

Choose the maximum DMs per day for each account in Settings. Set 0 to pause sending.

DMs start at 2 on the first sending day and increase by 2 each day until they reach your chosen maximum.

Version 0.10.14

When a button disappears or is covered before a click, the Log names that cause and the extension saves a redacted page structure for support.

Structural diagnostics now skip Instagram's bootloader scripts so the actual page controls remain visible in the report.

Version 0.10.13

When no Instagram tab is open, the extension now frees the account for the Mac app or another browser. It resumes automatically when you open Instagram again.

Version 0.10.12

Story viewing now skips hidden duplicate controls and opens a visible story ring, preventing repeated skipped actions when Instagram's feed contains hidden copies.

Version 0.10.11

Instagram Search no longer types into a hidden search field, and accepts exact profile links with or without a trailing slash.

If Instagram Search still fails, the extension sends a redacted page structure so support can identify the changed control without seeing your messages.

The Today screen now tells you to check the Log when an action is skipped; repeated technical skips need attention.

Version 0.10.10

All accounts now includes server-run Instagram accounts. Switch one to Safe Mode directly from the extension when you want to run it from your browser or Mac app.

Version 0.10.9

The bottom of the popup and side panel now shows the installed version and whether it is Advanced or from the Chrome Web Store.

The Extension page offers both versions and explains how their clicks, installation and updates differ.

Version 0.10.8

Gentler start for new accounts: no DMs in the first 7 days, then 3 on day 8 and 2 more every day (3, 5, 7, 9...) until your Daily volume limit. Likes, follows and stories are not affected. Settings explains the new warm-up.

Version 0.10.7

A new account whose home feed is empty now says so ("the home feed is empty") instead of stopping with "Instagram changed its page". Warm-up follows a few accounts first, then likes start working.

Stories: the account's own "Your story" is never opened by mistake. An empty story tray now reads "no stories to watch".

Unfollow confirms Instagram's "Unfollow?" question, so warm-up can unfollow its old follows after a week.

Version 0.10.6

Profiles open through Instagram Search in any interface language, not only English and Polish, so likes and messages no longer stop at "Instagram did not open the requested page".

A post left open from the last action is closed before moving on, instead of blocking the next click.

Messages are no longer refused when the chat window is clearly the right person's but the page has another text box elsewhere.

Each logged action now records which extension version ran it, so problems can be traced to a release.

Version 0.10.5

When your free actions are used up, the panel says so and where to start your free trial, instead of a vague plan message.

Version 0.10.4

When a button on Instagram is covered by a popup, the action is retried later instead of counted as possibly sent, and the Log names what covered it.

A comment box left open after a failed comment no longer blocks the next stories.

Version 0.10.3

Settings now explains the warm-up: new accounts send 10 DMs a day at first and reach your Daily volume limit by day 15, so Balanced and Conservative look the same in week one.

Version 0.10.2

Smaller download: the extension's code is about a third lighter, so it loads and updates faster.

Version 0.10.1

Clicks now use Chrome's browser input, so Instagram receives real-user click events. Chrome may ask you to allow debugging access for Safe Mode.

The extension opens profiles and posts through Instagram's own links and Search, and no longer changes the tab URL directly.

It no longer makes a background Instagram tab pretend to be visible. Background tabs can still run, subject to Chrome and Instagram's normal throttling.

Version 0.10.0

New "All accounts" view at the top of the panel: every account in your workspace, what it is doing now, and Pause or Resume for one account or all of them.

New "Start automatically" switch on Home (on by default): when this browser opens, the extension opens Instagram and starts by itself, a short random wait after the others.

Version 0.9.22

Setup finds the Instagram account you are logged into in this Chrome and offers it, so you no longer type your username.

Version 0.9.21

Pressing Start now clears an old sign-in problem left over from running the account on our servers, so the account runs instead of staying stuck.

Clearer messages: "Logged out" is now "Instagram needs a check" with what to do, and the "already running" message covers a second computer.

Version 0.9.20

Retry on a skipped or failed action is now a small arrow icon next to the time, in the popup and the Log.

Version 0.9.19

Campaign DMs written by AI can now mention the person's latest post when it is about their work, like new dates or a new service. Personal posts, sad posts and posts older than 3 months are ignored.

The post is read from the profile page that is already open, so a DM takes no longer than before.

Version 0.9.18

If something goes wrong right after a like, follow, comment or DM, it is never repeated. A second follow click would undo the follow, and a second DM would be a duplicate.

Actions that finished while your browser was closed or offline still count toward your daily limits when the browser comes back.

An update copied into the extension folder is only picked up once every file has finished copying.

Try again in the popup now really restarts the extension and fetches the latest Instagram layout fixes.

Version 0.9.17

Works in sittings like a person: 10 to 40 minutes of activity, then a break of 30 minutes to 2 hours. The popup says when it is taking a break.

Actions are spread across the hour instead of bunching up after each full hour, and weekends are a little quieter.

It mostly watches and scrolls, with likes and comments in between, in a different order each day.

Version 0.9.16

When you use Instagram yourself, it now waits a few minutes after you stop, not a few seconds. It also waits while you have another Instagram tab in front of you.

It stays in one Instagram tab for the whole session.

Likes, follows, comments and DMs only happen when it can confirm the right Instagram account is logged in.

It scrolls the feed for about a minute or two at a time and watches more reels for longer, so viewing outweighs actions like a real person.

Campaign DMs written by AI now mention something real from the person's bio instead of a generic compliment.

Version 0.9.15

The popup now says "Not responding" when the extension's background has stopped working, instead of showing Running. Press Restart to start it again.

More natural pace: after an action that could not be done it waits 1 to 2.5 minutes, and it looks at a profile or post for a few seconds before acting.

AI DMs no longer switch between a female and male voice in Polish, use no dashes, and never mention tests.

Version 0.9.14

Retry: a skipped or failed DM, like, comment or follow on a campaign lead now has a Retry button in the popup's Activity and in the Log. It puts that person back in the queue. A DM that was already sent is never sent twice.

When someone wrote to you first, Instagram asks you to accept their message request before you can reply. The Log now says so, instead of "the chat box did not open". Accept it in Instagram, then press Retry.

A DM skipped because you were using the Instagram tab no longer counts as one of the person's 3 attempts.

Version 0.9.13

DMs work again with Instagram's new floating chat window. The message is typed only when the window shows it is that person's chat and it is the only chat open.

Version 0.9.12

Fewer actions by default: 45 a day for a new account instead of 100.

Each day uses a different amount, between 60% and 100% of each number in Settings, so no two days look the same.

The popup's Activity shows Up next: the next two planned campaign actions and when they are due.
